Hey I’m Mark
I’m a Cornwall based professional wedding photographer from Falmouth specialising in documentary style wedding photography with a timeless, colourful editorial style.
I’ve captured the celebrations of over 450 weddings in Cornwall and beyond; from rustic barns, tipis on the coast, grand wedding venues, beach and clifftop elopements…and everything in between. Whilst most weddings I capture are here where I live in Cornwall, I travel where wedding photography takes me across the UK and destination weddings in Europe.
Personally speaking, I think getting married is one of the most incredible things you can do, and for me there’s no ideal wedding or couple…love is love and it’s beautiful in every form.

Natural & relaxed
I’ve always kept the same simple belief and ethos to wedding photography which is the best images come from not posing in front of the camera...the real magic is captured when people aren't aware of the camera, natural and photographed in the moment.
I direct photos only when needed, which is usually to make the most of scenery or natural light.
Of course you might like a few group photos with family and friends which I capture at most weddings and these can be as formal or informal/fun as you like (both works well).
You'll notice in my wedding gallery portfolio that there are very few photos of people looking directly at the camera.
Documentary style.
My wedding photography style is documentary or some call it reportage - it’s modern, creative, relaxed and focussed on candid natural photos to tell the story.
Couples who book me as their wedding photographer love my vibrant colourful images which are natural and not posed.
My popular all day wedding photography package is priced from £1395 - £2495 depending on when the wedding is and upgrades added such as video.

Ninja is my middle name
Nah it's not really…I don't even have a white belt in karate, but being described as a ninja photographer is something I love to hear as that's exactly what I set out to be - unobtrusive, discreet, empathic, but always present and use my experience to be in the right place at the right time to capture the best photos.

Four legged guests
People are at the heart of my wedding storytelling photography but I must add dogs into this. From my work in both wedding and family photography, I know just how important dogs are to people, and the images I capture are always special to them.
I've photographed hundreds of dogs at weddings over the years, many being ring bearers, always memorable photos.
Aerial photography
I bring my aerial photography drone along with me to every wedding and if the weather and permissions allow I love to capture aerial photographs to give another perspective to your celebrations. Also handy to use the drone for large group photos of all your guests in one photo.

Each wedding is unique and there are so many different variables at play on a wedding day, but the one constant is the two of you. This is YOUR wedding day and tailor my photography to meet your needs. Your wedding photos should feel joyful, genuine and completely yours.
I'm all about capturing real moments, from the heartfelt vows to the dance floor shenanigans, the laughs, the tears and everything in between, weddings are a real rollercoaster of moments and emotions....and it's why I love photographing weddings.
Cornwall, my home
I live in Cornwall where many of the wedding I photograph are, out of 450 weddings I’ve captured, at least 400 have been in Cornwall. With dramatic coastlines, stunning beaches and romantic countryside, I use scenery and natural light to elevate photos.
Whether it's on a beach in the daytime or golden hour sunset photos in the evening, from clifftops to countryside, Cornwall is blessed with landscapes that wedding photographers like myself dream of.
Over the years I've photographed at many wedding venues all across Cornwall including Nancarrow Farm, Pencarrow House, Lusty Glaze, Launcells Barton, Trevenna Barns and Polhawn Fort to name just a few.
I've also photographed many tipi weddings, festival weddings and farm weddings in Cornwall; everything from large wedding celebrations to small intimate weddings and elopements, and everything in between.
